Join me in celebrating with Judy, a faithful volunteer at the New Hope Resource Center!
This weekend, Judy will graduate with her nursing degree – a goal she has been working towards for quite some time. Because she longs to be used by God and is willing to go and do whatever He calls her to do, she decided to put in the long hours and hard work to finish her degree. She even plans to participate in the Morning Star mission trip to Honduras later this year.
On top of her studies, Judy also spends a lot of time at New Hope Resource Center. She’s here every Thursday to serve in our Personal Essentials Pantry, and her face is a familiar sight to our visitors. She has more energy than you and I combined – she is constantly stocking shelves, greeting clients, checking dates on canned goods, and keeping our Pantry tidy.
But most importantly, Judy loves on everyone who walks through the door of the New Hope Resource Center. When a new client needs help with our ordering system, Judy will patiently walk them through the process. Or when a regular client is disappointed that we ran out of a certain item, Judy will go out of her way to find something to take it’s place. Judy has even delivered personal care items to the home of a client to make sure she had what she needed.
By the way, did I mention that Judy will turn 77 later this year?
The New Hope Resource Center could not do its work without people like Judy. She is an inspiration to everyone and she proves that God will use each and every one of us. Thank you Judy for everything – and congratulations!
